Dear Doctor

We have focused for so many years on boron and the amazing research that shows this master mineral’s many functions: from regenerating our general health by going after inflammatory conditions, to strengthening bone health and reducing the agony of joint pain. There is much more to say about Boron and its importance.

But what about using boron to firm up our skin? Is boron an anti-wrinkles agent?

As it turns out, research by Miljkovic et al. (2002/2009) found that Fructo Borate inhibits the activity of collagenase enzymes, thereby supporting a firmer skin with less wrinkles. What are these collagenase enzymes? These enzymes are actually generated by our bodies and breakdown collagen. As we age, our bodies are not as regenerative as in our youth, which means that as the collagenase enzyme break collagen down, we see the formation of wrinkles.

Fructo Borate: start with one capsule a day and increase to twice a day.

Transformation to healthy diets by 2050 will require substantial dietary shifts.  Global consumption of fruits, vegetables, nuts and legumes will have to double, and consumption of foods such as red meat and sugar will have to be reduced by more than 50%. A diet rich in plant-based foods and with fewer animal source foods confers both improved health and environmental benefits.  (Walter Willett MD, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, 2019)
